Removing old film,
carefully and honestly.

I remove existing vehicle vinyl wraps, decals and Paint Protection Film (PPF), including adhesive clean-up afterwards. Removal is charged by the hour because the labour involved varies a lot: some films peel away cleanly, while older or weathered material can come off in small pieces and leave behind adhesive that needs extra time to clean.

What affects your estimate

  • Removal time depends on the age, type and condition of the existing film.
  • Leftover adhesive residue may require additional labour to clean safely.
  • Vehicles with aftermarket paint, previous bodywork, repainted panels or failing clear coat carry an increased risk of paint or clear-coat lifting during removal.
  • I cannot guarantee the condition of paint hidden underneath existing vinyl or PPF — it's only fully visible once the film is off.
  • Where appropriate, I recommend an inspection and a small test area before providing a final time estimate.
