1. Purpose
This policy defines the workmanship warranty provided by Vinylize Wraps, including coverage, exclusions, claim procedures, and warranty limitations.
2. Plain-English Summary
We stand behind our workmanship. If an installation issue is caused by our workmanship during the warranty period, we'll inspect it and repair the affected area where appropriate. Damage from outside causes, misuse, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered.
3. Official Policy
3.1 Workmanship Warranty
Vinylize Wraps warrants its installation workmanship for one (1) year from the project completion date unless a different period is expressly stated on the Customer's final invoice.
3.2 Manufacturer Warranty
Vinyl film is separately covered, where applicable, under the manufacturer's warranty and conditions.
3.3 Covered
- Installation-related edge lifting.
- Installation-related bubbles that do not naturally dissipate.
- Defects directly resulting from workmanship.
3.4 Exclusions
Not covered:
- Stone chips, road debris, collisions, vandalism, abuse, neglect, improper washing, chemicals, fuel spills, bird droppings, tree sap, environmental fallout, or normal aging.
- Paint or substrate failures addressed by the Paint Condition & Existing Damage Policy.
- Horizontal surfaces (including the hood, roof, trunk, and spoiler) may carry reduced workmanship and material warranty periods as specified by the film manufacturer.
- This warranty is immediately void if anyone other than Vinylize Wraps alters, trims, cuts, repairs, or otherwise modifies the installed vinyl.
3.5 Customer Responsibilities
The Customer must follow the Vinylize Wraps Aftercare & Maintenance Policy and take reasonable steps to protect the wrap.
3.6 Warranty Claims
Suspected workmanship defects must be reported as soon as reasonably possible.
Reporting Window: Installation defects must be reported within fourteen (14) days of first appearing. Failure to promptly report lifting or bubbling that allows dirt, debris, or moisture to contaminate the adhesive voids warranty coverage for the affected area.
Photographs may be requested. Vinylize Wraps reserves the right to inspect the vehicle before approving warranty repairs.
3.7 Remedy
Where a valid claim is confirmed, Vinylize Wraps may repair, replace, or rewrap the affected section at its discretion. Refunds are not guaranteed. The total value of any remedy will not exceed the original invoice price attributable to the affected panel or section.
3.8 Transferability
This workmanship warranty applies only to the original Customer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
4. Definitions
Workmanship Warranty means coverage for installation quality. Manufacturer Warranty means the warranty offered by the film manufacturer.
5. Responsibilities
Vinylize Wraps will assess warranty claims fairly and perform approved repairs within a reasonable timeframe. Customers must provide access to the vehicle for inspection.
6. Limitations
This warranty applies only to the original installation performed by Vinylize Wraps and excludes consequential, incidental, and indirect damages to the fullest extent permitted by law.
